Moist Brownies Cake

Menda alah 'moist brownies' nii dah lama aku nak blog out tapi asyikkkk laaa tak berkesempatan...One thing I just would like to tell you peeps, my very first attempt for it pun dah super duper successfull..Which make me more and more confident to bake it again and again seriously..And jangan tak percaya, I managed to came out with few orders from friends..and again, credit to myself..

Resepi..?? ni tahap kemalasan berganda nak taip..tengok jaa laa kat sini..And as usual..mintak halal resepinyaa yaa Kak Hana..sumpah sedap dan tak jemu ulang makan but still tak leh lawan sifu laah kann..And most important thing is, Mr. Hubby and the son really really really love it.. ~sengih sampai telinga sambil hati berbunga-bunga~

the overindulgence of the chocolate.. ~wink~ 

dan makanyaaa..terhasillah yang niii..khas utk Ct Norr menyambut anak sedaranya yang
datang dari Perlis.. ;-)

After all those attempt, i made up my mind to try it as a cupcake, and here the outcome..
With the same recipe but this one I put it in cups and reduce the time of baking to 20 minutes..
Extremely marvelous I tell you..as the ganache chocolate was soooooo mouth watery.. ;-)

This is for one of my student to celebrate her parents 23rd Anniversary..

Apam Polka Dot

My very first try to make this apam polka dot and I did it even the shape doesn't turn out up to the expectation but the looks doesn't tells the real taste I bet you..hihi...in anyway..I will always to give a very high credit to myself..Anak pun ulang makan tak berenti...Proud to be as I am..hahahahaa...

OK..jom mula cerita apa kisah di sebalik the insist-ness nak sangat buat apam polkadot nii...First of all..tengok ramai yang buat nampak mcm senang sbb main kukus2 jaa..rupa sedapp plak tuu..I always like to terjah when it comes to the simple simple one.. ~padan muka aku..tertipu~

Second is...aku tengok rupa dia comel-comel sangat, sampai teruja nak jugak buat sendiri..sebab kalau order macam tak puas hati perut punya lahh..

The third, anak duk tunutut berhari2 dah..sampaikan dua tiga hari bila bangun dari tidoq pagi2 tanyakan apam polkadot..so hari ni buat jugak! chaiyukk!!

The fourth...incik hubby kata lama tak nampak pakai mixer dia beli tuu since the very last time is masa buat kuih raya bulan posa hari tuu..hihihii..apa ke tidaknyaa..kek moist brownies aku yang org duk gila pesan skrg tak payah guna mixer..unless laa kalau ada org pesan ciskek, maka akan berkhidmat laa jugak mixer tuu..in anyway..I love you to the bits my dear Mr. Hubby for all your none-stop support..mmuahhss..

Woi woi woi...banyak pulak cengkadak hang duk merepek sampai nak jiwang2 plak dah niii..resepi tak kluaq2 pun lagi..ok ok...here you go..aku blajaq buat punn dari sini jaa...apa2 pun nak ucap tima kasih sayang yang tak terhingga kat CikTom..mintak halal laa erkkk resepi nii...hihi..moga makin murahhhh rezki cik Tom..aminnn..
Walaupun tak semenggah rupa..janji sodapp...

Bahan-bahan (utk ~50 biji apam polkadot cup 1.5")
  • 3 biji telur gred A (dari peti sejuk)
  • 275g tepung gandum
  • 220g gula halus (aku guna gula castor 200g ja)
  • 150ml susu segar/cair (aku guna susu cair)
  • 3 sudu teh baking powder
  • 1 sudu teh 'ovalette'
  • 1 sudu teh esen vanilla
  • Blueberry filling ( nak guna strawberry/kaya/etc pon boleh)
Cara-cara nak buat:
  • Pukul telur dan gula castor pada kelajuan max sampai kembang, gebu dan putih melepak
  • Masukkan susu cair, tepung gandum yg diayak bersama baking powder, ovallette ikut turutan, mix sampai sebati. Kemudian masukkan esen vanila, dan mix lagi sampai sebati.
  • Bahagikan adunan kepada beberapa bahagian, warnakan ikut warna kesukaan, kemudian masukkan adunan berwarna tadi ke dalam piping bag.
  • Paipkan adunan ke dalam mangkuk kertas hinggap aras separuh, kemudian masukkan filing (piping is the easier way) kemudian paipkan lagi adunan sehingga hampir penuh paper cup tuu.(boleh guna warna yang berbeza kalau suka a.k.a kalau rajin)
  • Buatkan dot-dotnya.
  • Kukus pada api sederhana selama 15-20 minit atau sampai masak laa menda alahnyaa..hihi..
  • Siap..!! Tadaaaaaaaaaaa....!!!
Berasak-asak laa dalam tray nih dek takder tray utk letak cup tuu satu-satu..
Tu pasai tak bulat...hahahahaa..but dapat laa dua tray nii plus 'cup malas'
 yang kat bawah niii...



Cup-cup yang gabak ni gara-gara dah malas nak piping masuk dalam cup kecik2 tuu..
Plus masa dah tak mengizinkan, sbb nak pi USM, ada briefing pasal Danish nak masuk skul.

Dan ini adalah habuan yang dah di-ngap! oleh si kecik aku..Nampak sangat punya excited
lepas menahan hasrat berhari-hari lamanyaa..hahahahaa...Ni round satu..siap tapau lagi bawak pi USM..Dan balik pun duk ulang lagi...kagum mak..!! :-)

SRK - Tak Kesampaian..Nur Cemerlang is More Than Good Enough

Today's activity, tak dak apa yang menarik..masak pun tidak..main tunjuk-tunjuk jaa menu lunch hari nii..but the most important thing is all about fulfilling the son's expectance since these few weeks talking about school..So today I brought him to his school that we had enrolled him to to get his uniforms..

Tak tau nak cerita macam mana as he was really excited about school...kadang-kadang sampai Achiknya ngusik kejut bangun as early as 7 in the morning kata nak pi skul pun dia terus bangun...but here I left it to the picture to tells you all the story about his excited-ness.. :-)

As promises a loong-day ago to go and get his uniforms from school, therefore today we went to Nur Cemerlang and collect them from school..balik balik terus laa 'menerai'..pastu terus takmau bukak-bukak dah...

Dan mulaa laaa berlakon pi skul laa konon-konon..habih semua koleksi buku Enfagrow dia kluarkan...

Pastu explore from one book to another...bagusss...bagussss anak Mummy niii.....

Uishhhh.....study.....!! Mantap u... ;-)

He told me.."Mummy tak boleh disturb tau! Boboy nak read book..nak pegi school nii.."
Baiklahh anak...!! :-P

Birthday Surprise Gift from Mr. Darling

Macam tak sangka that this year I would get a surprise gift from Mr. Lovely Hubby after the very last one which was on 2006..I got a bouquet of flower and a box of gift from him..hadiah tuu dah turun ke anak sekarang :-)..

Since we tied the knot, I knew that hubby will hard to make any surprise during my birthday even I did. He would always ask to what I want for my birthday, but way different from this year. I was too busy to invigilate the examination even the school was in holiday mode, but what else to say..saya yang menurut perintah..


Know what, when the day come and I was still on invigilating mode, he invited me to go out just the two of us..I knew that he is going to celebrate my lovely day with such a lovely treat just like years before, tapi tak sangka! SUMPAH tak sangka that I am gonna to get this lovely box from him..


I seems can guess what will be inside when I open it up...but it's really surprising me when he was silently bought this lovely stuff without my knowing..Well, I really love this to the bits..



Yes I do love it so much..
He seems to knew that I really envisioned to have the new watch since my watch that I wore now is the one that I got since 2006..

Melaram sekejapp.. ~wink~ sori erk, plastik pon tak cabut lagi terus nak ambik gambaq! ngeee

Blueberry Cheesecake for Our Birthday Warming Up :-)

Just to say that it's a wonderful month when the November has come. It's tells that there are so much of meaningful celebration had fall in November..Yes they are of course my memorable date of our big day fall on November..It is our anniversary that fall on 18th of November..

And..my birthday fall on November too as well as my lovely little son..Therefore we are sharing the same birthday month..Since I am so passion on baking..just turning out the ciput skill yang tak seberapa that I have, this is the warming up birthday cake by my own..

My First Ever Attempt in Chocolate Paraline

I had a sooooo much in desire to make chocolate paraline by my own rather than just only ordered from friends. I did google around with the information but only as usual when it comes to the matter of time, thing been delayed and delayed.

And come to this good thing of me, nak jugak buat and therefore I came across with this stuffs first before I started all over the task..Since I always have too limited of time to go all the way to the store and find for the molds, I turn out with online shopped..takpa laa mahai sikit but at least cover laa jugak duit petrol and masa aku..hihi..


Got these from here and I bet you could get anything as your needs in baking from them..It's easier...no need to think when and where to go and find them..

Mainan masak-masak aku..yeayyy!!! boe start dah...!!!!

And tailing from having these stuff in front of my eyes...I made up my mine and my time with my little guy doing this, and here you go the outcome even though still lacking in many areas..but in my case, at least I got to know how the process goes to make it.. :-)

Friend suggested to use Collata compound milk choc but since Collata milk choc asyik habihh jaa..
So I turned my mind to choose other brand..apa nama ntah tak ingat but it tasteway better than Collata..

Please disregard the lubang-lubang bubble due to unwell melted compound chocolate.. :-) so hopefully lepas nii tau dah where to correct..and where to improve..All in all..sedapppp!!!! Itell youuuuu....

Way to do it, simple! you may want just to melt the milk choc until well melted, then pour or piping them into the molds as you like...E.A.S.Y..!! Have fun to try...

The Busy-ness of Me

Too bad of me sampai nak update blog pon sebulan sekali..itu jaa yang berkesempatan..Seems too  many things come and go in my life these lately sampaikan tak terlayan dek kepala otak ni kadang-kadang..tsk tsk tsk...


I am actually have bunch of stories to tell here, all about my baking and baking passion these lately, about my lil boy that growing as big boy dah sekarang..nak masuk skul dah..my lovely day..my...my and myy...semua laa nak diabadikan..but it is all the matter of time..Macam tak bersyukur pulak Allah bagi 24 jam masih tak cukup2 to handle and even settle things..huhuhuu..my bad

By the way, before we move over to that bunch of stories that might bring you to the mad, come let me show you of my baking skill that improved I bet in pastry...yeehaaa...ayat tobat perasan tak hengat..

I am so doesn't realize of myself since when I end up with this kind of passion..I learn of myself and bake one after another. It's all just because I just in insist to know how to make them  but if things could turn into business, nothing is wrong kan..rezki Allah tuu ada kat mana-mana just only if we put the effort to find and get it, then we will get it InsyaAllah..

To all people out there, jom laaa main masak-masak nii...besssss....As my old friend said, I am tuning myself into 'fattening hobby' lahh...Am I... ~thinking mode on.. :-P~

None-Baked Strawberry Cheesecake

Recipe inspired from my 'reference book' here, but the looks and taste I bet might be different lah kann..lain-lain tangan..appropriate laa to me as a first timer on making it..And please..please and please believe me it was sooooo yummy I tell you...

Previously, I was done with this simple one, and now following with this one which is none-baked. Friends were advising that none-baked one is way easier than the baked cheesecake..as at the first place before making it, I felt that terribly lack in confidence..apa laa pulak rasa satgi kek aku nii kalau tak bakaq but it turned up so great till I can't believe that I made it..!!!

And here I share out the recipe..to Kak Hana di kejauhan sana..mintak halal erk ilmu masak-memasak nii...makasihhhh... :-)

My None-baked Strawberry Cheesecake
Ingredients:-
To my niece, recipe must be in Malays kan..there you go the motivation..kalau tak buat jugak siap laah hang.. :-P

Bahan untuk based/tapak kek

  1. 15-20 pcs biskut Marrie (Blend halus)
  2. Buttercup (1/3 - cairkan)
Mix those above ingredients well, then tekan rata dan padatkan ke dalam pan (I used 8" loose bottom pan). Bakar dalam oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Ketepikan biar sejuk..

Bahan unuk kek:
  1. 200ml whipping cream
  2. 50 gm plain yougurt
  3. 250g cream cheese
  4. 150g gula castor
  5. 2 sudu makan jus perahan lemon
  6. 10gm gelatin halal (I used gelatin from Halagel)
  7. 100ml air mendidih (untuk cairkan gelatin, atau boleh cairkan guna method double boiler)
  8. 3 biji Fresh strawberry (dipotong dadu, jgn besar sgt nanti habis semua tenggelam ke based)
  • Pukul whipping cream sampai nampak putih gebu..ketepikan
  • Dalam bekas yang lain, pukul cream cheese dengan jus lemon hingga sebati, tuangkan gelatin yang telah dicairkan dan kacau hingga sebati.
  • Tuangkan ke dalam bekas berisi whipping cream tadi, sebatikan. Jangan pukul guna mixer sbb nanti habis terpercik satu meja.
  • Tuangkan separuh adunan ke dalam loose pan berisi biskut tadi, kemudian taburkan fresh strawberry, dan tuangkan sehingga habis adunan kek
  • Masukkan ke dalam peti sejuk semalaman. (Kak Hana kata dia masukkan 2 jam jer but I left it for more than 4 hours sebab pegi jenjalan ke shopping Mall dulu pastu balik sambung lagi...aci tak gituu..?? :-D)
Bahan untuk topping:
  1. 150ml strawberry filling with strawberry inside
  2. 5gm gelatin halal
  3. suku cawan air mendidih
  4. 2 sudu makan gula pasir
  5. sedikit pewarna merah (aku tak letak, sbb tu topping nampak transparent..sexy gituu)
  • Cairkan gelatin
  • Then masak semua bahan kat atas nii sampai jadi bebetul pekat (sblm tu asingkan strawbery-strawberrynyaa dulu) - padahal aku tak masak pon..main campur jaa semua bahan dengan air mendidih
  • Sejukkan dan tuangkan ke atas kek yang dah disejukkan berjam-jam tadi..susun strawberry yang diasingkan tadi ikut suka hati..

My Very First Egg Tart Ever

I was taking quite a long minutes to get started on blogging again since my very last entry..Yes it is almost a month passed by and due to the matter of time...I had my home being abandoned for quite some time..Well, here it start again..hmmm....huhhhhhh....~breathing in and out~

OK...as per requested by my niece to write this recipe in Malays..so I make it for you Dear starting from now on since this tags will become your reference book of cooking and baking...no harm and nothing scathe for sharing the knowledge..Here you go!

My very first attempt of Egg Tart


Resepi Tart Telur (inspired form MyResipi):
For pastry
  1. Buttercup (belah dua, ambik sebelah jaa)
  2. 80g gula ising
  3. tepung gandum (secukupnya smpi boleh uli jadi doh)
  4. 1 biji telur
  5. 1st esen vanilla
For filling (ikut sebijik-sebijik kat sini)
  1. 1 cawan susu cair
  2. 4 biji telur
  3. 1 cawan gula (kalau taknak manis boleh kurangkan)
  4. 1 cawan air
  5. 1 sm tepung kastard (bancuh ngan sikit air suam)
  6. 1 st esen vanila
  7. sedikit pewarna kuning (tak letak sbb kustard dah kuning)
Instruction of preparing:
Ehh silap...cara nak buat:
  1. Pukul gula ngan butter smpi sebati
  2. Masukkan telur ngan esen vanila, pukul lagi
  3. Masukkan tepung sikit demi sikit dan uli ngan tangan smpi jadi doh
  4. Sapu acuan dengan butter (utk. takmau bagi melekat)
  5. Tekan dalam acuan tart senipis yang boleh..takut nanti kembang dia naik sbb ada telur
  6. Cucuk2 dgn fork sbb nak bagi dia kurang mengembang
  7. Bakaq 5 minit, then tuang filling dia, bakaq lagi sampai masak (sampai filling dia keras tapi tak hangus..hahahahaa)
  8. Biaq sejuk pastu nanti boleh laa kluarkan dari acuan dia...dan.........makannn.....
* ada jugak terbaca, lepas tekan doh dalam acuan terus tuang filling and bakaq skali harung jaa..for the first attempt niii tak try laa pulak..

Untuk buat filling dia lagi laa senang..part ni aku suka....campur semua bahan..pukul sampai sebati..maka jadik laa dia...mudah kann...aku suka yg mudah2 dan senang...memang dasar pemalas!!

Puding Custard with Tropical Fruits Cocktail

I had once made kind of this appetizers a long time ago but that one was from Auntie Rose recipe and advise..And by the way this time around, I've tried to turn it out to be as my own way and recipe of preparing it..bunyi macam hebat sangat bagus jaa kann... :-P Well, anything that been done need to be immortalized..kalau tidak nanti lupa esok2 nak buat lagik..!! Find the sketch of it last two days here...

 Puding Custard with Tropical Fruits Cocktail

The ingredients :
*************
1 can of evaporated milk/creamer
1 can of cocktail
20g halal gelatin ( I used gelatin from HalaGel)
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tbs of custard powder (stir in 1/2 cup of warm water before pour)

Preparation Instruction:
******************
  • Boil milk/creamer with sugar over the medium heat while stirring them non-stop.
  • Stir custard powder with warm water in some other container and pour into the milk boiled earlier..the same goes with gelatin..stir gelatin with hot water until well dissolved then pour into the mixture..
  • Stir until well blended then put in the fruits cocktail.
  • When the mixture looks almost boiling, turn off the stove and pour into container.
  • Let it to cool in the room temperature before placing in the fridge for a whole night.
  • Serve with your choice of decoration...yang ni aku buat sesuka hati jaa asal ada.. ;-)

Argghhhh!!! K.E.N.A.P.A..!!!

Whut has actually happening peeps as I just don't have the idea...my blog's background suddenly do not want to appear...huarghhhhh!!!! rasa macam nak makan orang tak..?? Anyone have any idea why was this happened..Anything goes wrong with TCBOTB tak..?? anybody using their background..?? advise please...Thanks a mills...

Semalam Lain Hari Nii Lain

Yesterday right back after school, I had made up my time with baking mood again...taktau laa pasai apa semenjak dua menjak niii kemaruk buat macam-macam..


Actually, we (me and school colleagues) will be having such a small gathering among few of us main masak-masak buat nasik dagang since there is a fellow that terribly craving (akuu laaahh tuuu) for it..But in other way for return, I make this simple cocktail puding as a dessert..

Tropical fruits coctail before the mixture been pour into it 

Pour in the mixture until all the mix fruits been covered.
Left it to cool in the room temperature before place it into the fridge.
Ni rupa dia semalam...

Dan hari niii jadi lain sikit... ;-)
The look after a night in the fridge..pastu deco laa ala2 suka hati sendiri..ahaks.. :-D
Ni yang baki dari bekas besar tak muat tuu..so masuk sikit dalam small container..so jadi laa comel macam niii...

Mummy : Haaaa...!!! tak pakai pampech (pampers)..saja ajuk pelat dia dolu2..????
Boboy : Yerr laaa..Boboy kan big boy dahh...

Boboy : Mummy...Boboy nak pakai pampesh lahh...
Mummy : Aik....why...???
Boboy : nanti Mummy tuu giget pontot-pontot (montot) Boboy...

~One day when he came in the midst of his parents phone conversation, and once hang off~
Boboy : Mummy..kita nak pegi Giant kaa..??
Mummy : Yess..but wait for papa to come back first ok..

Boboy : OK.........
~while waiting for Mr Hubby coming back from work, kami pon bersiap2 laa..siapkan Boboy dulu then baru aku mula naak bersiap~
Boboy : Mummy..kenapa pakai baju nii..?? Ni baju cantik Mummy ker..??
Mummy ~wondering..tu soklan tanya kaa soklan sindir..Mentang2 mak dia pakai treksyut ngan tshirt jaa..haishhh...anak pon tau kot mak dia slalu melaram bila nak kluaq jenjalan..~

Koman-koman pon..ada laa jugakkk..dari treksyut ngan T-shirt..
huh! Giant jer pon..stendet macam pi market ja laa.. ;-) boleh..???

Story Empat:
Si budak kecik niii kuat laaa kena sakat...almost everyone in this house (achu..chachik, paklong and the biggest terribbly teaser is his paknjang..)sampai haku pon naik pening..!!


And guess what he came to me and said.."Mummy...sapa notty nanti Tuhan mawwah kann...kena masuk newaka kan...pastu kena kena bakar kat api kan...nanti pakNjang tuu notty2 sangat disturb Boboy..nanti Tuhan mawwah pakNjang, masuk newaka,,pastu pakNjang kenaaaa bakar kat api kan Mummy...???"

Time for Wedding Bell

We have a wedding of hubby's niece to attend tomorrow and I am kind of not so prepare of it..huhuhuu..my bad when the mission of seeking for the new baju kurung untuk melaram esok finally ended up with the scout that unsuccessful..tsk tsk tsk...

But at least I had made up my time with this simple dimple gift for the bride and the groom for their big day...
Even it was kind of a last minute but I do satisfied with it..jangan salah sangka yaa...haku tempah jaa..kerajinan untuk paraline choc nii belum mengatasi this baking passion..ahakss..



Thanks to my dear friend for her kindness to accept the order at very last minute and the result was totally saticfactory..Thanks Imah...

Simple Marble Cheesecake!

Presenting my first ever the most simple marble cheese cake after a very hard feeling and passion in baking it...When I said I wanna it to be left not just a story, here I come to make it real and therefore, it is finally end up to be this creature...But still yummilicious I bet to be as it all the first attempt..

And just like usual with all my free-wheeling, I here by share out the secret of the recipe which is actually no secret at all in it..hahahhaa..ni pun haku diajar dari sini..cuma ada laa memandai sendiri sikit dari ajaran tuu..But first of all, thanks a bunch to my dear old friend Wanie for her kindness motivation and helpful advise.. ;-)

My Super Simple Dimple Marble Cheese Cake
(8" loose pan in size)
The ingredients: totally referred from here:

  • 1. 250g cream cheese
  • 2. 200ml fresh cream/plain yogurt (I used whipped cream)
  • 3. 2 sudu besar jus lemon ( I used squeezed lime juice)
  • 4. 3 sudu besar tepung gandum (I put 2 and half tbs)
  • 5. 2 biji telur
  • 6. 90g gula (I used castor sugar)

For the based:
250g marrie biscuits (finely blended)
250g Buttercup (melt)
--> Mix these 2 stuffs and press them into loose pan that been laced lining the base with the baking paper and put aside

The instruction on how to do it:

  1. Mix cream cheese, castor sugar and whipped cream in the mixer until they looks creamy, then put in eggs one by one and continue to mix. Put in the squeezed lime juice and I add in a tea spoon of vanilla essence for the good smell of it.
  2. Put in the flour and stir them well.
  3. Pour the mixture into the loose pan with the based ready.
  4. Use the color paste to make the marble design
  5. Bake it in to the oven at 150 degrees for 35-40 minutes
  6. Cool it in the room temperature for few hours before put your cheese cake into the fridge (don't put it in the frozen part)
  7. After few hours, the cake is ready to be cut..
